Home from work now and just had two poached eggs on toast.
A muller vanilla Greek style yog and a packet of crisps - lord only know why I had to have them.
MFP - 188

It's easy to steer away from food at work when I'm going home for lunch. No food till lunch time is even easier.
Tired so going for a little nap. Got parents Eve for the youngest later.
No more work this week
Class tomoz and maybe a trip into town to exchange some Xmas pressies (if they let me)

Not enough people writing blogs. I look on it every day but it's very slow. So here I go, I'll add to the blogs.

I have a new recipe book. It was one of those book club books you get in the staff room at work. I nearly didn't get it, but luckily my friend, Julie, did and she told me how good it was and I happened to walk into the office about a half an hour before the woman came to collect the orders and the books and I had the $12 in my purse. It all conspired. It is a huge hard back, Complete Middle Eastern Cookbook.

It starts with a chapter on Greece. This week we are eating Greek. Last night we had mussel pilaff. Tonight it was spanokopita. I have a lot of trouble using filo pastry. I swore I would stop trying to use it. We can't get it fresh so I have to get it frozen. But on the strength of this new book, I have decided to give it another go. This book says you have to leave it out of the freezer for at least 2 hours. So tonight, I get home at 5.15pm. I take the filo out of...

I posted a note in February as I was unsure what my final goal should be. I have lost a total of 21lbs and 12 lbs since Feb posting. I'm presently 127.4 lbs and have set my final goal at 124 lbs, so another 3 lbs and I'll be maintaining with the aim of staying under 9stone.

Well at least I didn't gain weight when I went home (which I rather expected to given I was living mostly hotels during the week). I seem to have lost half a pound. This is probably because it is the day after a fast. At least I have not gained.

Im only half way through my first week and yet to have my second fast day, but I think I see how this works.
Wednesday Morning (my fast day) I was 84 kilos. Thursday morning I was 82.7 kilos. (WOW!).
Thursday I ate what ever I liked, which unfortunately included a decent little much on chocolate in the evening, and this morning I weigh 83 kilos. Bloody marvelous!!! So its like a giant loss after a fast day, a mini regain on eating days, and over time the trend is heading in a downward direction.
Awesome!!!
I have been on enough diets (that's an understatement, lol) to know that it wont always be so dramatic, and that losses slow and stall over time, but still, so far I love it!!!
