:oops: :confused: you've got me stumped with ,ziggurat' @ carorees

you'll have to give me an example using it in context so this bear of little brain can remember to casually drop it into conversation! :razz:

Literally it translates to 'circulation disturbance'. I could never work out whether it's a fair dinkum (=real, genuine) medical thing or just a convenient excuse for taking a day off... :smile:

The translation is correct, perhaps 'blood circulation disturbance' would be even better, which means that it's a real medical thing indeed, but that does not mean that it could be used for the second purpose as well :grin:

No, I'm not German, but live close to the German border.
My favorite in German:
Laufpensum
In my local Dutch dialect (Twents):
Onmeunig
Fist one to find out what that means gets a 10 points bonus.

ziggurat = stepped pyramid
"As he climbed to the top of the ziggurat, his thigh muscles screamed in protest" Not so easy to drop into a conversation!
uxorious is worth cultivating...a good quality to have in a husband! (it means to be overly fond of one's wife!)
