@ferretgal has just posted on the Thursday thread but I am in Friday already. I'm fasting with you Ferretgal! Have had a black coffee. It's funny when you change your days. It feels all wrong to be fasting on a Friday. I have a busy list and I've started well, ringing the phone and internet company to sort out my billing arrangements. Now I'm making soup to take to a sick friend and I'm off to visit Centrelink to wait for hours to submit some information about my income that relates the the OH's Old Aged Pension. Also on my list is finishing weeding the onion patch - started yesterday and have about 25% left to do. And I'm going to unload another box from the junk room into the new cupboards. That should sort me out.
You sound very busy @Sallyo. Have a great fast.
I wasn't really planning to fast, but missed breakfast and feeling OK, so will at least not eat anything until tonight. I may go slightly over if I get some exercise in though.

I quite like doing Fridays as it keeps me away from wine in the evening.

Good luck to anyone else joining us today :clover:
Hello Sallyo and other fasters today. I am fasting today as part of my present ADF campaign to gain my Super summer Challenge goal. We had 3 lots of wonderful guests this summer and I ate things I would not normally eat and put on weight. My challenge was to remain the same weight as when I started the challenge (52.3 kg), which is within my maintenance range. I went up to 54 kg every time and came down to 52.3 kg all three times. The latest time was yesterday, after a fast. Then I ate normally yesterday. And today my weight is 52.9 kg. Sigh. For this summer challenge there will be Sunday for me to fast yet. Sorry, Sallyo, I know you're in winter now. It looks like Sunday will be a fast day as well. I just have to take these fluctuations in my weight with peace of mind.
You sound really busy Sallyo. I myself am waiting for a man to come an change our old front door to a new one. This is part of a roof deal, where the door is free of charge. The roof people are coming in three week's time. Now that the guests have left we can do House repairs, I guess.
:clover: :clover: :clover: Good luck to all Friday fasters.
Hi everyone: I'm also fasting today. Its 8:40 in the morning here. I fasted Mon. and Wed. and both fast days were good. I found out that if I don't eat all day and wait until dinner and eat just the one meal than I have not trouble fasting that day. Once I start eating I always end up with over 750 - 900 cals. instead of keeping it to around 500-700.
Because I'm fasting 3 days this week I do allow myself more than 500 calories.
Tonight dinner is going to be a steak stir fry..........
Do any of you allow yourself more cals. when fasting more than 2 days a week?
