Every day there will be a new topic in this forum for today's fasters to chat & support each other.
Please don't make extra threads in here besides the daily fasting threads, if you've got a question please post it in the relevant forum or ask in today's 'Fasting Today' thread, thank you.
My best advice is to read as much as you can on here. Stick the kettle on, make a cuppa and settle down to the business of getting to know the forum.
When I first started fasting, I skipped breakfast, had one third of my 500 calories at lunchtime and two thirds at dinnertime. After a few months, I found I could go through til dinnertime on only fluids - but everyone has their own strategy...or finds their own strategy. Presumably, you are not used to going all day without any food, so I would ease yourself into fasting if I was you...and maybe have something to hand just in case you get really hungry this afternoon. Keep the fluids up at all times - I find I reach for the kettle whenever the hunger pangs strike! Also, in my experience, they come & go and are reasonably manageable, so there's no need to fear that they ramp up & up - which is what I used to fear at first. Keep busy....is also good advice....as is, be kind to yourself!
We have an "introduce yourself" thread that you might like to visit. Tell us a little about yourself and you are sure to get a big welcome from many members - who you will find are a very friendly, supportive and knowledgeable bunch!
Good luck!
Good Luck to you.
