I can read back over my blogs of 2 years ago when I started 5:2 and remember the waves of hunger. I'm ready for them today. Looking forward to 'seeing' everyone else who's a Thursday faster. Let's do it!
Yay! I'm back! First fast in 3 weeks and it's my 2nd Fastiversary. I'm glad I had a break. I've put on 2 kg, but all set to start off again, possibly 4:3. I'll see how today goes. I'm going to have a boiled egg with bread, no butter, for breakfast as I don't think I can launch straight into nothing till tea time today. I have purchased some packet soups - 23 calories a serve - to keep me on track during the day and minestrone is planned for dinner.

Anyway… I'm also in today. I've had my egg and my first coffee. I might need a second already--not to fight off hunger, just because I'm sleepy.

Lots of variety of veg for me for dinner tonight. Used to have it with a grilled chicken breast but realised I enjoy the veg more than the chicken? Go figure - so cut out the chicken as the highest calorie item.
Really enjoy just my steamed veg with chilli flakes on top - yum. Also a load of brussel sprouts tonight for roasting with some garlic, yum!
Finding the fasting easy at the moment - long may it continue!

Black coffee just now for breakfast, a busy day that will include making bread for tonight's poached eggs.

Struggling to get back on track. Fatigue and irritability beeing my main obstacles.
If I succeed today it will make 2 fasts this week and that will hopefully boost my confidence and motivation
