Thanks, silver darling. We're away then in a remote corner of Wales without electrickery. Will set dear remote to record it for me, or use iplayer (we have battery to recharge laptops, so no chance I'll be incommunicado in a week's time!)

What am I missing do tell

If you like traditional foods woken up with spices that we can all purchase & done in a relatively simple way, then you should watch this program (if you missed it then there's always iplayer)

We were really inspired by it - very exciting

Yea I love spices I have a top drawer in my kitchen island which is all spices which I use all the time along with my herbs which I grow and dry. I will have to have a search, thanks AnnieD

Had their Creamy Fish Curry last night (with zero noodles instead of rice, 'cos that's what we like!) it was deeeeeelicious.

Leftovers this morning with eggs poached in it - even better !!

My favourite coffee in the world, black Turkish/Arabic method with lots of ground cardamom. I think it is my favourite spice, in everything from cakes to curries. This programme is a treat btw, and the two presenters are so cheery (especially the Scottish one!).
