Glad you're getting into the DODO zone Sally @Sallyo. I think the good thing about fasting every other day is that if something does crop up and you can't change your fast day, well then you've still managed to do at least 3 fasts that week. Mind you, if you have a pretty full social life I don't know how you cope.
This DODO should be treated as a weight-loss booster...and morale booster for those who may be plateauing. I can't wait to hear about people's results!
xx
Well done Beano! Yr challenge has got off to a rockin good start! X
What she said...... You're doing a grand job Bean so glad you decided to sort us all out with this one. I don't usually do well apart from the Xmas ones.
Why thank you! Hopefully people will be pleased with their results at the end of the month!
Morning everyone. I'm pleased to report that today I have got back into the green zone with my BMI now in the healthy range after being stuck for almost a year. Did not lose anything after Thursday's fast day but it seems to have come down today instead. So today's fast day has my full attention.
Whoop whoop @rawkaren - that's terrific news, well done you!

I'd like to echo what others have said - a big thank you to @nursebean for setting this challenge! So far, I am feeling full of motivation and am eagerly scouring the forum daily to see how everyone is doing. Long may that continue.....

Have a good fast day, my fellow DODOers! Xx
Hi everyone finding it a bit tough fasting at home at the weekend! Too many temptations...... Looking forward to tomorrow but taking solace in the fact that my jeans feel looser than they did last weekend. Happy fasting Challengers.
Karen!! @rawkaren well done! I am so pleased for you. And you seem to be enjoying DODOing too, which is great news!
@Hazlenut20 you are on FIRE at the moment! Have you fasted on a Saturday before? Hope it goes well for you and you @Pilchards. Weekends are definitely more "trying" shall we say...but there's always tomorrow...don't forget that!!
Come on Saturday fasters...you can do it!
Bean
This is very strange for me, but I wouldn't have had breakfast anyway, so until lunch time it's norm then I will busy myself to keep out of that closed kitchen. Bacon sarnies will not be eaten by me today,
Bought a sea bass in sainsbos so I think I may have to freeze it for later this week.. So I've got some celery sticks and low cal hot choc if needed later.
Oh no! Did you have to say the words "bacon sarnies!"
Hello Bean - since returning to fasting in March, I have thrown in the odd Saturday fast as part of a 4:3 regime, so I am confident I can do it...in the sense that once I make my mind up to do something, nothing will shift me. That is different though from saying it will be easy...because it won't! Am pretty sure I will be watching my husband toasting things, buttering things and generally scoffing with gay abandon all day today....but as you say, tomorrow is close by...and besides, let's not forget how smug we will feel with the first DODO challenge week under our belts!

Thank you for leading from the front! I am feeling very well led and appreciate the effort you are taking to keep us all going. And I know we will all really thank you for it when we reach the end of the challenge!!

Hope your day goes well! Xx
What? Toasting...buttering...think i am hallucinating....  x
Saturday fasts are harsh..but thats just all in our minds! Be strong!tomorrow is another day!
Today is a FastDay favourite - Roasted garlic and cauliflower soup. The worlds largest bowl of raspberries and a coyo (dairy free) yogurt. It's calorific as it has a whole coconut in it but it tastes like the best treat ever.

Tomorrow we are out for lunch so something to look forward to.
Thought today was gonna be a struggle but its actually going smoothly
Hope same for everyone else :like:
@rawkaren your menu sounds superb..and a lovely lunch to look forward to tomorrow..life is good isnt it! Hows yr hubby and Archie? You still in uk? Where can i buy the coconut yog? X

@candicemarie. There is a store locator on their site http://www.coyo.co.uk/, but I think Waitrose and Tesco now stock. All good here thank you. Nice to be back together for a short while.
