Popping in to cheer on all DODOers! :like: :like: :like: :like: @Rawkaren that's great news, many congrats to you!
My version is 52ing in sync with some of your 'day on' days so my next fast is Monday. However you have all spurred me on  , so I'm having a 'good' Saturday and will have one healthy meal at dinner time as I'm in that frame of mind.
@Pilchards so sorry to hear your dog has passed on
Loving all the positivity on this thread!
Must admit I was feeling pretty daunted this morning and tempted to chuck in the towel but have managed today so far on an orange and have put in a request for an early dinner as I'm starving! We're having chicken stir fry - he'll have noodles and may do some chapati style breads but I will forgo those and of course the wine so hopefully won't be too heavy on cals but am not counting today.
Nearly There @madcatlady ! Enjoy yr dindins x
@lizbean i too am doing my own version of DODO so not all my fasts coincide ..todays has..
I guess as long as we get results its ok to be versatile! X
Well done everyone! :like: and remember DON'T GIVE UP AND EAT MORE VEGIES? :-) :-) low cal and seriously filling.
It's 8:00 pm here Sat. night. Had a good fastday #3 so far. Steak and salad for dinner and one fried egg and half and orange for lunch.
Hope everyone had a good fastday.
Progress report for DODO # 20
DODO since April 1st with serious watching on non fast days. I do feel deprived!
900g down And I haven't (ahem) been yet  :victory: It feels good! And this is from the glacially slow loser.
Onwards and downwards fellow DODOers.
Thanks @nursebean for keeping us on track.
I've come out the other side unscathed. Back to pre holiday weight already. Lost 5lb with two seriously well behaved fasts.
Now onto goal, "Shake It Off" as Taylor swift would say.
Yesterday's fast was 450 cals but I seem to have gained 2lbs overnight from somewhere. Assume water. However my carbs were 58g according to MFP. That is not particularly high. Ah well, let's see what happens tomorrow.
Don't worry Karen @rawkaren that'll just be the water being a pain. It'll be gone after your next fast, I'm sure.
Hope we're all enjoying our Sunday...its fast day tomorrow!!
Bean
That came round quick.
Chicken and ratatouille or roasted veg tomorrow with a naked prawn salad for lunch.
I'm back to work so as I'm up super early I'm not going to try and fast till dinner.
Next week is a challenge as I am out for dinner four nights in a row. I can cope easily with one meal a day but normally in the middle of the day. I find it hard to wait until 8pm at night to eat. Will try my best!
See how you go. Maybe you'll just have to have reduced cals as far as you can.
Good luck to you both for this week. At least it's only a 3 day fast this week!
Wishing all DODO ers a great week especially Mon- Wed - Fri! X
Monday morning here in Sydney and heading off to work. Find it much easier on work days. Nothing but tea and water until poached chicken wraps (a fast day fave) for dinner tonight. I am going to a step class straight after work so I have an apple in my bag to have before that if I feel the need. Happy fast day everyone.
I'm fasting today, crayfish salad for lunch, then the kitchen door is closed. I hope you all have a good day. :clover:
