It sounds as though DODOing is proving a bit tricky for some but I love the way you're all working your way through it. It certainly wouldn't be a long-term fasting method (I guess because you're always thinking about food in some way or another) but it's good to have a little boost or gentle nudge now and again. Well done everyone and keep up the good work!
Bean xx
Good morning everyone.
DODO Sunday it is then....keeping busy today, have a coffee date with my mate @madcatlady, and I'm currently planning my fast days for the whole month so that I can't fail. I've decided to go till the first week in May to cover the missed ones from the first week and the two I will miss this week.

Oh hadn't spotted that. Ok that's good then.
I'm on it!
I'm in for my first run of 3 DODO's Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday. I'm aiming for 340 cals, a quarter of my TDEE, I normally allow myself 500 cals but when trying to fathom out why I was gaining I realised I'm eating too many cals. Simples! Going the whole hog and replacing milk with lemon in my tea for now. And I've planned the menu for the week, lots of veggies and salads, I've let this slip recently too. Eat more veg. Feel like I've found my fasting head again, let's see.
Good luck Sunday DODOers. :clover:
Hi @nursebean, thanks for adding me.

I'm looking forward to the challenge but scared of failing.
Any tips on how you get through your fast days would be very welcome
Thanks for adding me @nursebean good to see my name on the list. Finished my second fast today......
Don't worry about failing @raggy. Just do what you can. That's the beauty of fasting you can tailor it to suit you. As for fasting tips...make sure you drink loads. I tend to save up my calories until the end of the day and leave enough spare so I can munch on something like dry Cheerios or something. That's how I get by. You could boil some eggs and have them handy for emergencies...they're quite filling aren't they!
Good luck @skinnyli and @raggy xx
@nursebean hey, dont forget yr AB C ers..doing our own thing that isnt really DODO  but we want to be involved
I am looking forward to  several days of 1000 cals this week..16:8 if poss xx
Have A groovy week everybody! X
Well tomorrow morning, hubby @BruceE and I start MWF fasts. I've managed to lose my Christmas weight, but I still have the 4 pounds I put on at the end of November for Thanksgiving/Birthdays/High School Reunion parties. Yikes!

I've managed to up my steps to nearly 12K/day so I'm hoping that will help too.
I think if you're dieting every other day, a bit of flexibility is in order. I'm sure I went over yesterday but only at about 600*. By strict rules that's a fail but not in my mind.

*there's a salad I like with beans and corn. I always go a bit over when I have it. I need to sub the corn for something lower calorie and lower carb.
Sorry Candy...didn't think you'd notice!

Exactly @MaryAnn fasting every day means you can go over (slightly) sometimes and not feel too worried about it! We're not a boot camp, just adapt the DODO to suit you!
How's everyone getting on? Is anyone finding it difficult? Is it surprisingly easy? Love to hear from you xx
I'm glad we still have two weeks to go as I did not fast at all last week. I'm back into a routine hopefully this week. It is alot easier when you can get a rhythm going.
