the family here couldnt cope with change of days .. so thank you for inviting me to join but i just cant see myself getting them to do it.. and we all have to do it on same day or the whole food prep thing doesnt work

Hi Nursebean and everyone.

Would love to join this challenge. Have been off the wagon for the last 6 months but life is getting back on track and its time to get back in the saddle (nice mixed metaphor! ) was already planning to do 4/3 so this will be a great fit. No shortage of clothes that dont quite fit to try.....Tuesday here we come

@nursebean trying to work out how I sync with you DODOers :bugeyes: as I fast 2 days during the work week at the moment to maintain. Here goes:
WK one: Tuesday 7th and Thursday 9th
WK two: Monday 13th and Wednesday 15th
WK three: Tuesday 21st and Thursday 23rd
WK four: Monday 27th and Wednesday 29th
WK five: Tuesday 5th
Likely to join you for some 'window' shopping days too. Thanks for running the flexible DODO challenge.

One small question, could I have more cals on fast days if ADFing?
Hi Oatesy. Well, in theory you should really stick to 500 cals but I'm sure we can let you have up to 600 if you find it difficult! ;)
@nursebean what an excellent idea! There will be some serious weight lost this month...more people on the fast day threads too. Interesting how some people think it is way harder thn 5:2, but when you do ADF (well 4:3 in my case cos I like routine of certain days fasting) it gets you into a flow that I find way easier than 5:2. In fact I find only restricting my cals 2 days a week feels glutinous :bugeyes: good luck everyone, I hope (apart from skinny jeans) you will report your successes here in weight loss as inspiration. :clover: :clover: :like:

Had an encounter with the scales , the first since November :shock:
Well, I've been living a strange life since Deecmber and it,'s taken a 2.5 kg toll and too many mm to the waist.
Things are simpler now, and, apart from packing up to GO HOME ( I may have mentioned this? :oops: ) I can get stuck into DODO and give myself the wet fish treatment. :victory:
And, I also have time to exercise, but maybe not the inclination... :bugeyes: :confused:
starting now even though i have just made rosemary and rock salt focaccia . :grin:
