(Plus of course i have my two " cheats" fasts of 1000 cals and other days are TDEE)

Pretty crockery @candicemarie. Right I'm done for the day. Had a lovely lunch which was a small portion of jamon iberico, followed by a dainty portion of sea bass with a couple of tablespoons of stir fried beansprouts, asparagus and spring onions and an expresso. Got home and had one square of 99% Lindt. I reckon I'm there for the day which means if I get hungry tonight I will have to fill up on Mare Rosso. It's a nil (well 6) calorie red bitters drink which tastes like an AF campari & soda and looks very glamorous with a slice of orange. Pity you can only get it in Spain. Shame on you Coca Cola. (they make it exclusively for the Spanish market)
Well done @rawkaren that foood sounds good,as does that drink!
I love campari! Pity the MareRosso is only available in Spain x

DODO 20 reporting in. No problem fasting on a diving day (7 years diving @nursebean thankyou for asking)
Had a Ceasar salad at about half three'ish and now contemplating some dried apricots.
Diving again tomorrow , lucky me, so will be eating but light.
not finding much difference from 4:3 but that could all change at the weekend!
Hope everyone else is doing fine DODOing

Happy diving @Janeg which makes me wonder where Scubachick is
Our dinner was a small fillet of sea bass cooked in coconut oil, garlic and lemon, served on a bed on steamed courgettes, fennel and herbs. 350 cals? I have not felt hungry today as I drank enough tea and water for GB so that should do me well, I hope so.
The kitchen door will be firmly closed after the washing up ceremony that's about to begin.
Good luck and well done to all DODO beanies.

Hi,
I'm new to the Forum. Can I hop on the DODO challenge? I completed my first fast day today.

Hi, well done to everyone for yesterday 1 down 13 to go! In case anyone is confused Pilch and Pilchards are the same person. I am having some admin issues merging my two profiles which hopefully will be sorted out soon. Enjoy your Wednesday - I am looking forward to my yoghurt, raspberries and chia for brekkie, poached chicken wrap for lunch and smoked salmon and scrambled egg for dinner. Am going to try and restrict bread to once a day whilst I am on this challenge. See you tomorrow for another fast day.
My first fast day of the challenge went good.
Nursebean: Have you done a challenge like this before. If so what kind of results did everyone have for the month.

One down....14 to go!
Yesterday went fine, thank goodness. Just as well, because I gained 4lbs last week after letting myself off the hook for the first week of the Easter Hols. Silly girl - will I ever learn? A real shame, since I had managed to shift half a stone in the previous 4 weeks of returning to fasting.....
Need to sort my head out, that's for sure....

Hi all first fast of challenge successfully completed yesterday. Ate the Lindt chocolate bunny today that was left over from Easter so that removes temptation from tomorrows fast....
Hi all, just to say that I didn't fast yesterday, but started my challenge today. Had one apple and a quarter of a danish pastry this morning. I have so much food left over and I had to taste one if it was still OK (for freezer keeping) or for bin. Was tempted to have a whole one but the only thing that kept me from doing so was my fear that the sugar would make me really hungry later on. So in the freezer it went.
I will commit to 4:3 as I know I can fast during the week. I have no problem fasting during office hours, but when I come home in the evenings or at weekends I like to reward myself - sitting down with some food is part of it even if it is just a small plate full.
Good luck everybody

Welcome @willowey! Good to meet you x
How did your first fast go?
I must admit,if youre new to fasting, i would suggest that you just do 5: 2 for now, rather than alternate day fasting.
I find alternate day fasting very difficult, and while we're all different, it might make sense to just fast twice a week until you get established on it.
Good luck whichever you choose, and whatever you decide, there's plenty of advice, tips, ideas to be found if you browse the forums, and a friendly helping hand if you need it x
Ps there's an 'introduce yourself' link too..introduce-yourself-f1/
where you can say hello to all the fasting community as well as the folk visiting here..

Just popping in to check on all you DODO's! Sounds like you are all off to a great start!
Wish I could have joined you, but as I'll be away for 10 days starting next week, I knew it wouldn't work. I'm sure there will be other challenges ahead that I can join.
Keep up the great work!

Well it sounds as though you've all done really well and are really in the DODO frame of mind...
Karen @Rawkaren who would have thought you could eat some much wonderful food on a fast day, eh? And only one square of chocolate...and Lindt at that? That is a major feat in itself! Well done!
Candy @Candicemarie? Love the plate set. Really pretty! Is this day two of your backtoback?
jane @Janeg - well done!
Bean @Lizbean - Seabass seemed to be very popular yesterday!
