Hi Wilson :)
Sorry to hear you're not having the results you might have expected. Sometimes it can take a few weeks for a loss to show up on the scales due to fluctuations in water weight while the fat weight is going down. Exercise can also affect the number you see on the scales, as it can cause you to retain extra water while the muscles repair. Plus, muscle weighs more than fat.

I don't know how much you have to lose but this can also be a factor, and I can highly recommend this article to help understand why the number on the scales isn't always accurate:

This one may also help

Do persevere and see how it goes after another couple of weeks. Feel free to tell us a bit more about your situation and we'll try to help.
Thanks for the encouragement!! I fasted successfully a few years back on 5:2 but didn't stay on the 5:2 however this time I have committed to 4:3 and for some reason (so far) I find it more manageable than 5:2 I think because having the 3 fasts creates more 'routine' for me? I am on medication for high BP and would like to drop around 15kg's and hopefull decrease the need for BP meds (I'm 43) - I enjoy exercising a few days per week (running/cycling/walking) - but keen to become a regular faster before focussing too much on exercise.
Unfortunately every time you attempt to lose weight and the older you get, the harder it gets! But keep at it!
