Hi Everyone,

My name is Mark and this is my first post and first day on the 4:3.
I plan on fasting Tuesday and Thursday and Sundays and one of those days I will do a full fast, so water only.
Once I hit my goal wait, my plan is to go to the 5:2

I am fasting today and plan on fasting again tomorrow and then start on Sunday to to my regular routine of Tue, Thur, Sunday.

Hi, @smardie, I hope that your fast day is going well. I see that you have posted on the Fasting Today thread so that is a good place to start. You have set yourself quite a challenge, particularly back to back fast today and tomorrow. I hope that you are not intending to make one of them a liquid only one because that would be even more of a challenge!

There are not many of us posting on here nowadays but there is a huge wealth of material on all aspects of fasting which is available to you, so use the search facility to research as much as you want.

Good luck with your fasting and if you need any help, just ask!

Hi Mark! @smaride!! Sorry, I should have read this first before writing on the other thread. Its great to have you with us. You are doing exactly what I'm just starting again. Fasting on Sundays/Tuesdays and Thursdays! I was going to fast every other day but I still go to Slimming World (its where all my friends are) so I really want to have Thursday as a fast.

How are you finding it so far?

Welcome to the group, Mark!

The first few fasts are the greatest challenge. Keeping busy and sipping something salty during the day will get you through it. Hunger is like a stray cat, if you don't notice or feed it, it'll go away.

As far as (full) fasting two days in a row ... many sources report that "hunger just disappears", others that it took 3 days. In any event you're in for an eye-opening adventure.
