Yesterday completed my 4 weeks on 5:2. I weighed in this morning and have lost 7.5 lbs. I am just thrilled.

I plan to eat this way forever.

Also, I've noticed Michelle Harvie's book (I believe Dr. Mosley used her research) on 5:2 eating is coming out in the U.S. in June...and I already have it on pre-order! I'm determined to learn everything I can about this way of eating. I already have 4 books on the topic. I can't learn enough!
WOW! Good for you!!!
Well done! It's a great feeling to lose weight and not feel like you're dieting isn't it.

I've done 3 weeks and lost nearly 6 lbs so hopefully I'll lose 7.5 at the end of my 4 weeks too!
This WOL is amazing
Congrats - this way does seem to give quick results at the start which is very encouraging. It was lovely to be able to eat what I wanted yesterday and not really worry about it knowing that going to the gym this week and planned fasts should sort it out...
Well done!! I agree with you this way of eating allows this last weekend to go by with minimal fuss and stress. Before I would have been guilt ridden, disappointed and frustrated by today. I just love that this WOE allows for a normal life.

Could you tell me the name of the book? I couldn't find it online?
AND Congrats!
Thanks for your encouragement everyone. We ALL can do this!

Denver, go into amazon, and in the search enter The Two Day Diet, International Best Seller by Michelle Harvie, Release Date June 18, 2013. Apparently the book was a bestseller in Europe, and it's been re-written for American audiences. Ms. Harvie did a lot of research on intermittent dieting and breast cancer. I really believe Dr. Mosley modeled his plan after her research in particular, from all I've read.

If anyone in Europe has read this book, please chime in! Did you like it? Thanks!
