Quick, everyone look around their seats and see if we can help her find that 3 pound 2... Welcome Evileda! (There's got to be a story behind that avatar !) Seeing hunger as interesting rather than fearful implies a healthful, positive attitude. Don't be shy about asking questions or voicing concerns...

Walking dogs is a great way to get walks / steps in for yourself - one of the best ways I think. Not so easy when the weather isn't great though... Our dog Lizzie (the one in the front of my avatar) now decides whether she wants to go, and if it is raining or looks too cold, she refuses to g...

I think a few more need to answer the roll call! (Trust a teacher to think of this...  ) I live in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges, with OH, elder son, and the 2 dogs you see in my avatar. I spend most of my time on leisure pursuits. I am very fortunate to have been retired for alm...

Thanks Tracie, I am taking your advice and having half a stock cube dissolved in hot water - no proper broth available here!! It's a long afternoon. 3 hours since I last wrote and I have done some exercise to fill in time - 3/4 hour on the treadmill while catching up with Father Brown (not the best ...

Hi, I wrote a blog for a while on this site. It can be accessed by pressing the relevant icon under my avatar. A few members have done blogs over the years, Moogie's would be worth having a look at. Good luck - it can be very useful to write down what you are doing, how you are felling, reflective t...

Hi Sassy1 . I've got two English Pointers - Morgan and Riley. I am going to sit down this weekend and work out how to add an avatar picture of the dogs. They need a lot of exercise - physical and mental - so I do agility with them both once a week and some clicker training too. I guess the agility c...

Hi Esta As I have mentioned elsewhere, your exercise program sounds fabulous, and is much more than most do. The range of activities is marvelous too, it means you are exercising your body in the variety of ways it needs. I do a lot of aerobic exercise, but not enough strength work, and not sure how...

I only see one photo though - a lovely happy one of y...

Hi wakki22 Thanks for this. I read a number of the articles on this website, all quite interesting. The source article does make sense. The theory that you break big goals into smaller goals is something that we all know, maybe not always associating it with willpower, but I guess they are related! ...

Hi all and belated wishes for a happy new year! I've had reports in the last few days of errors when logging in or out - so I tried it myself and had the same problem. As I'm totally up to my eyeballs at the moment with work, funerals (not a good December for my husband's family :( ), hospital appoi...
