I'm new to forums and am technologically challenged so bear with me : ). I've had success with intermittent fasting about 3 years ago but it ending when I passed out in my MMA class. I went to several doctors and heard everything from I need a pacemaker to just eat. I've tried to incorporate intermittent fasting on and off over the years but still get light headed. I've gained about 25 lbs since then and am look for a way to overcome the dizziness factor. Prior to intermittent fasting, I struggled with fainting on and off. Perhaps once every 3 or 5 years. If you have any suggestions on how to overcome the dizziness, I greatly appreciate it. I've read everything from just breathe, to you have to start your exercises up slow, to more salt, more water, etc. I also do cross fit and would feel dizzy temporarily when lifting heavy weight. Just thought I would try this forum out. I plan to intermittent fast 5 days a week for 16 hours.

Welcome @mitchellandre and @nancyrobin

Sorry no longer-term forum members have responded to your posts - we have had an influx of activity after it being very quiet. But if you keep posting, eventually someone will respond!

Mitchell, your dizziness sounds like a low blood pressure issue, but I don't have any medical training - I am surprised that a cause has not been found by the medicos, but I would be consulting them before undertaking fasting.

Nancy, do tell us more about yourself.

There is lots of info in the forum and in the LEARN pages, so do have a good look around.

Best wishes. :clover:
