Hey everyone,
Just wanted my first post to say that this site is amazing, and I love how you all became such a warm community.

I hope we all achieve our goals and change our lives for the better (and help others do so).

Welcome Stella8 !

Please tell us a bit about yourself, your goals and what you expect from 5:2.

Though the site is not nearly as busy as it once was, there's still a lot that can be learned here. As a place to start check out the FAQ and Learn tab at the top of the home page.

A number of us have "graduated" to maintenance and only occasionally pop in. In any event virtually everyone here will do what they can to help.

Hi Stella8!! I'm new to this too, so I'm glad to see another newbie face :) How long have you been doing IF? I started last Friday and already failed the last 2 days. This is where I facepalm at having to read that!

Hi fellow Newbies.....
Just wanted to throw my own welcome out there and say that these IF programs do work. Seems that after the first couple of weeks, it comes much easier. It's the first time in my life that I am actually losing weight and am not constantly obsessed with eating/not eating as the case may be...... There is always a good meal just around the corner, you just have to be patient!

Cheers,

Orrin

Hey picklesfoley, it's always nice to meet new people.
I've been IF-ing for two months, and already lost 7.5kg. this WOE suits me perfectly, and I actually enjoy the fasting days (I don't eat anything on FD, only drink water and sometimes green tea).
Don't give up, we all have some bad days, but the choice to keep going is what makes all the difference.

Orrin, I'm glad it's working for you :) You're right, it does get easier, and patience is the key.
