Sorry I couldn't resist the topic title, but this is actually a serious piece of research, based on DB as subject, into the effects of (and dangers of) refeeding after a prolonged (44 day) fast - the one he carried out in a perspex box hanging over the Thames in September 2003.
Probably (hopefully?) no real lessons for us non-magical fasters, I imagine it is of more use for those treating victims of near-starvation. It's nice that some useful research came out of the stunt anyway!
