Well, what can I say that has not already been said. You are fantastic, SO jealous of that tiny waist and with a wedding coming up AND your incredible talent for drawing and making your dress I just can't wait to see those pictures. I hope your sister is OK, she is lucky that she is suitable for a kidney transplant, hubs has just slipped into stage 4 CKD and he is not suitable as his particular problem is systemic so I shall keep my fingers, and toes, crossed for her.

Hi PeonyBlue, what a transformation for the loss of (just?!) 18kg. :)

Having seen your photo, I agree with carorees comment (was it?) that the second of your wedding dresses would really suit and show off your figure.

Enjoy all the wedding preparations and I look forward to your updates :D

PS and I will say hello to Adelaide for you when I get there on Tuesday :)

Thanks for the lovely comments, guys, and I look forward to seeing all your before and afters too, cause I know many already have great stories to tell.

And @Ballerina, keeping you and your hubby in my thoughts & prayers too - I know kidney disease is not easy to deal with, and it's hard watching someone you love going through it.

@PeonyBlue thanks for saying we can feature your story & photos on the main FastDay site. Can I ask if you would please message me or post your forename if you're happy for us to use that in the story (eg, "Caroline's story", "Moogie's story" etc). It just looks a bit better on the site if we use a real name rather than a username. Is that OK? Thanks!

I’ve dealt with stresses (and I’ve had many big things come up over the 6 months) much better than I have in the past. I don’t know if fasting is the direct cause of all of it, or whether feeling good about myself has led to a better frame of mind, but all I can say is that I am in a much better place physically and mentally than I had been earlier in the year.

Definitely, like my mood swings have improved and I feel calmer, definitely has a positive effect on how we deal with stress, because willingly abstaining from food is stressful in its self.

This is a biggie.

Congratulations, you have a very nice slender figure in the after pics.
