The negative effect

HI everyone
Yesterday (being on holidays) I found a Pandora Bracelet in my jewlery that I hadn't worn in a long while. (Chain with little tranklets).
I put it on. Put my arm down - OFF fell the bracelet. :?:

Lost again. Only I didn't think that my wrists would lose weight.
This really is a negative diet - you just don't know where and when you will lose something!
LOL !!!
I was stunned and very happy to note that this 5:2 is a happening all over ones body and of course internally too.
Keep on 5:2ing everyone the rewards are definitely worth it. :victory:
Now to discover if my bathers fit or need to be sized down. :?:
Tenshi

 Noooooo to losing the bracelet but :victory: Yaay to 'loosing' it! When I first did 5:2 last year I was amazed at the differences all over my body, although I can't say I noticed smaller wrists!
Enjoy your new figure and watching it change

My wrists don't look any different to me but my watch now goes halfway up to my elbow so it looks as though I will have to have it altered, ( the strap, not my wrist!) It is amazing where the weight goes from but more maddening is where it CLINGS to. I already had slim wrists but a HUGE waist and no amount of dieting, low carb, fasting etc. can get it smaller, at this rate it will never catch up with my wrists

My wrists are definitely smaller. My watches are now loose, instead of leaving unsightly red marks when I've worn them for a couple of hours. My rings are looser, too - I don't want to lose them - although, like @Ballerina, I would happily lose some off my waist!

Slight clarification needed, I have lost fat from my waist thanks to IF but am now stuck and nothing I do changes things, sigh! :frown:

I too have lost weight from my wrists - at my heaviest I had stopped wearing my metal watch as it was too tight but it fits again now. Have a way to go to be able to wear all my rings again (and to get my wedding ring off which is firmly wedged on!) Will be glad when my spare tyres deflate though..............

My fitness leggings , you know the ones which cost a small fortune. £30 or so . Well they keep falling down and I can't run in them as they end up showing my bum for everyone to see. So I'm mostly wearing new smaller ones . But yanking up the old ones intermittently during classes, much to my mate (who stands behind me ) entertainment

Edit . They stick to me when I sweat though, so the faster I get sweaty the less I have to yank them up.

Hi Ballerina! On the persistence of the dratted waist-weight, at one time I despaired of ever getting a waist back and getting rid of that loose jelly that would shake up and down like you-know-who's belly  : . Losing weight helped with the magnitude of the jelly-belly, but the jelly-roll persisted still. :curse: The answer: lots of Zumba with a teacher with ball-bearing hips who grew up in Hawaii doing hula. :victory: I even found that I had got rid of the "vertical bulge" (abdominal muscles not meeting in center) which had developed during my pregnancy (26 years ago). I now have a core and a discernible waist, yea!
Not all Zumba teachers are dancers, and the dance and music are what draw me. But, if you can master the whole hip thing, including lifting your hip on each side (basically, standing side crunches) it really helps. You are a dancer, no? Zumba and/or Belly dance should do the trick! Never say never!

I've had to change wearing my rings to my middle fingers. They were always slim but definitely slimmer these days. The extra water I drink these days must have 'helped' with this.

My rings are loose. A few years ago I couldn't even wear my wedding ring. I refused to have it stretched, thank goodness, and now they are loose. Not so much I will loose them but they do flip and turn.
My legs/hips are the problem areas and I notice IF is slowly helping that too. Finally.

Aaah - the things we slimmers have to put up with! So exciting when we see things other than the scales moving - I am wearing a skirt today which will soon have to go as it will be dropping off me! @Carieoates - if your leggings are 3/4 length I might be able to give them a good home! They say "nothing tastes as good as being slim feels" - how very true!

Thank you to all who replied. I too have had to find another finger for my rings. This forum is certainly interesting in the diversity oof all things that grow too big or decide to fall off. Also interesting is how our bodies are repairing themselves internally and externally. BTW can now wear fashion shoes. Wa hoo!!

I too have seen my wedding rings roll away at a check out counter. It had edges, so I could easily retrieve them. I then went to the market and bought a cheap but pretty SMALLER SIZE ring, which I now put on the same finger as the wedding rings, but last of all! Works really well. If weight fluctuates... I just stop wearing it for a while.
My problem too is my boobs and my waist. I think I am quite thin, but still cannot wear 'my size' bras. Any other diet I ever tried always minimized my breasts... not this one.
Hmm? And I DO exercise!

Back in 2013, somebody here started the trouser falling down thread. which was so funny. This reminds me of that
