Halfway there!

I haven't been on in week or three, mostly due to a trip and just life in general getting a little crazy.
But I wanted to come this morning and report that I'm halfway there to my goal of losing at least 40lbs.

I've started on Jan 3rd weighing 191.6lbs, and three months later, I am 171.6 - that's a loss of 20lbs in 3 months, which I am very happy with.

I've started this journey doing 5:2, then switch to EOD, incorporating 16:8 most days, adjusting all of that as my lifestyle required. I still enjoyed parties, going out with friends and my wine and vodka (though in moderation). I am much more aware of what I'm putting in my mouth and it helps a lot. When I had a day of overindulging, then I just make sure that the next day is a true fast day and voila - I'm back on track.

A summary for those of you who like numbers:
During January, I lost a total of 9.6lbs
During February, I lost a total of 6.8lbs
During March, I lost a total of 3.2lbs.

Even though March was slow, it included a trip to MI to visit some friends and several birthday and other parties. I am not upset or concerned, as long as the number goes down every month, I'll be happy.

Here's to April! I have a trip to Vegas in 6 weeks - I'm hoping to lose another 3 - 5lbs before that.

Thanks for everyone posting on this forum, all of your posts and stories were and still are providing so much inspiration every day. Keep it up!

ps. I'm going to find some before pics and take some after pics, and will post in a day or two.
