I am now in the 27s of my BMI!

When I started the 5:2 diet I was at 28.9

Three kg to go before I'm in the 26s.

I am now in the 26s!

My waist is now less than 50% of my height!

And, most importantly, I am now over a quarter on the way to my goal!

I get flirted with much more by strangers, recently. The attention keeps surprising me, because I was no longer used to it, and assumed it was because of my age. Now probably my skin looks better, I have more definition in my face, and I look more energetic. Still it's surprising to get so much attention even wearing too large ill-fitting clothes.

Just smile and enjoy the attention glassmarble! You've earnt it!
Do you think we have more confidence because of this way of life? It's nice to take ownership of an issue and know the solution is in your hands with this WOE which you can take up or put aside as lifestyle demands.
Well done!

Yay - congrats on the waist, and the great progress towards goal. :like:

And enjoy the attention !

I caught someone looking at me the other day, and assumed I had my skirt stuck in my knickers or something, but maybe its the spring in my step, and a better shape

Thank you all
I don't know if I'm more confident in my body language, I think perhaps I do walk around with my chin held higher and a smile on my face because I feel so good.

Hey, I lost a stone! According to the tracker, my start weight was 12st 9.47lbs and my current weight is 11st 9.14lbs. I promised myself I would celebrate my first stone, even though that unit of measure means almost nothing to me.

I am very surprised and baffled about what happened this week. I know about suddenly dropping water you've been hanging on to, but still!? Yesterday I didn't weigh myself in the morning, because I had had carbs Thursday evening. Then after my run, I couldn't resist, and I laughed when I saw 74 kg on the display of the scales. "A glimpse of the future," I thought. No way that weight was staying off once I replenished the sweat I had lost. But it totally did.

Perhaps this is my effort to eat more fat this whole week paying off? Or my scales need new batteries.

Nothing to do with batteries methinks and a lot to do with this great WOE! Well done :)
