Ok! on to week 2! this is my third fast and I have just eaten my lunch of ham egg and goats cheese salad.

I hopped onto the scales this morning and at first was dissapointed as I had just lost 1lb - then I remembered I ate like a pig for 5 days and had beautiful home made fried chicken last night so its not all bad and a pound is ok. I thought as it was my first week I may lose more but that pound is more than I have lost in the 3 weeks previous as I had just hit a plateau

Lunch
Salad with finely chopped olives, ham and goats cheese

Dinner

Courgette pizza boats topped with olives, goats cheese mushrooms and red onions with spicy butternut squash wedges and salad

highlight - 40 - need chocolate and also having mega hunger pangs - hoping this will calm them down.

Total - 543 - averaging 1,600 - 1,800 calories on a feed day so not concerned about going slightly over today.

I logged on my fitness pall yesterday as i didn't get 5 mins at work to hop on here - yesterdays calorie consumption was 1,850

Well!...... yesterday I learned not to make bake sale items on a fast day..... :bugeyes: it was torturous but i survived :smile: . i'm working from home today because of the terrible storms :-/

I had a lovely night last night, I also had a glass of prosecco and a pint.. hic! The pie wasnt very big and it was a small portion of smoked salmon so i think my estimation of 1000 kcals for food was safely over and will accomodate the beer :)

Friday 6th December

Went to my mums for the weekend, I didn't eat like a pig but I am definatley looking forward to my fast day today - which is weird I didn't think I would start looking forward to these days. somebody last night was surprised I was carrying on with 5:2 over Christmas but why wouldn't I? its flexible and it fits in.

couldn't weigh myself in boots today as the machine was out of order AGAIN!?! I did weigh myself at mum's and i'm 7lbs lighter than when I last weighed myself on her scales so its all good :) hopefully I can get to another boots at lunch time to get weighed.

YEY! I finally got to weigh myself and I have lost another lb :) this pleases me a lot!

Last night I had poutine and a mini mac and cheese and it was delicious :)

it was a bit of a busy weekend and I cant quite remember everything that I have eaten. I have lost another lb though which pleases me a lot :)

I am loving this way of eating and have planned my days around Christmas so it should all be good :)

* today is going well so far (3pm) I decided not to eat breakfast and had my lunch at 1.30 - I ate it slowly with a big glass of fizzy water to wash it down and I still feel nice and full.

* im sitting as over on my calories today but i'm not too concerned as I was under my 2k yesterday and plan to be so each day by aiming to eat 1,800 kcals a day.
