1979... I gave up smoking...went from thirty a day to none but put on a few stones!
Glad i gave up tho as was expecting the patter of tiny feet in..

1980 - moved to London and started working at the BBC ...

1982 had son!

1984 - graduated from library school in Aberystwyth, and spent the rest of the year unemployed (it was a bad year for the public sector in UK ... )

Very slow around here ...

1985 - moved to Coventry, and started first professional job.

I feel old, In 1986 I had 2 teenagers and just to cheat in 1987 we moved from Hartlepool to Cheshire

In 1988 I met my OH and we went to New Zealand for Xmas together on a fantastic and memorable 6 week holiday. Spent Xmas day walking up a volcano!

1989. Moved to Kent UK. The Berlin Wall came down and there was Tiananmen Square..........

1990 I was 21. I guess it must have bean a good year

1991.. Best friend died of cancer ..on a happier note,we moved to a three storey flat after eleven years in a first floor flat ..and i began training to be a counsellor alongside my full time job

Ten a.m post fast day...not a flicker of hunger...didnt go to bed hungry either
Had protein - ful dindins,v little carbs...That ole Carb Monster has run away with his tail between his legs !

I'm finding a teaspoon of coconut butter when the munchies start calling quietens things down nicely and tastes lovely too :0)
In other news, we tried the years first mince pies covered in single cream for dessert last night. I think I've lost my taste for stodge ... Cream was nice. I prefer a banana sliced under greek natural yogurt sprinkled with chopped nuts/flaxseed these days.
I wonder if I'm up for Christmas cake or pudding too?
