I've just eaten, meltingly slowly, my first three small squares of Lindt 99% dark chocolate .
WOooooOW!
It recommends you drink coffee with it, and so I did, it really needed it.
Desert dry explosion of pure chocolate taste.
£2.39 for 50g, not going to happen often.
It lingers on and on, like a revolution of flowers in Spring, like a velvet glove caressing your face.

Anyone got anything to add?

mmmm - I don't think I would like that - despite best efforts my palate is still attuned to Dairy Milk!

Knowing me though curiosity will demand I try it - like my coffee though so at least that shouldn't be a problem!

I find the 99% really dry, but I adore the Lindt 90% and Green & Blacks 85%. Both totally edible. Did you see on Sunday Brunch on how to taste chocolate?

Put a square in your mouth and hold your nose
Let the chocolate melt in your mouth
Release your nose and then taste the melted chocolate.

I like Lindt 90% but not the 99% it is just that little bit too grown up for me

Oh yes, love the 99 %, discovered it some years back. Sorts out the chocoholics from the sugarholics.

Absolutely love the 99% stuff pure bliss.
I was bought up in Bournville chocolate runs through my veins,

I love both dark and milk chocolate, milk for the sugar addict in me and dark for the chocaholic!
I buy various strengths from different places to try and enjoy 'tasting' the different types of chocolate from different places. I had some 100% last month which was divine as long as you don't munch on it like a chocolate bar!

Three hours later and the taste is still lingering, like the memory of your best lover ...

Fortunately the conversation in this thread is smile-worthy.

I think I may have discovered the perfect break fast.
A teaspoon of coconut butter.
A stick of celery.
Two soft boiled organic eggs with a little iodised salt.
A cup of real coffee.
Three small squares of 99% dark chocolate.
A cup of real coffee.

Consider dropping a square of chocolate into bulletproof coffee before you hit it with the emersion blender. Yum!
