Yes just 24 hours. Happy with the results so far, losing about a 1lb a week.

In the book Michael Mosley says wake up eat 500 cals at sometime during the day, spread out or in one or two meals, whatever you like, go to sleep, wake up and eat normally. Which is what he said in the programme and in various articles etc. But, later on in the book, Mimi Spencer throws a spanner in the works by suggesting you can do 2pm to 2pm or any 24 hour period. This has caused endless confusion and I think should not have been included. The calorie restriction doing it this way is hard to predict because it depends how much you pack in before and after the 24 hour period. It is too easy not to lose weight that way. Perhaps she meant to say you could do a 24 hour total fast, which is more likely to lead to weight loss, but in any event here at the forum we are left trying to help people who have read this in the book to work out how they could make it work.

I wish they would cut it out of the book and reprint!
