Excellent that you can do this as a couple. I'm looking forward to that. My wife is not yet convinced even though our BMIs are now 16 points apart.
The EatFast documentary is available online at:

It runs for an entertaining and informative hour. Enjoy.

Becoming a part of my regular routine now

160 on the dot. Today after a regular food day yesterday, I weighed in at 160.3 I am sure my weight will go up and down a pound but I am slowly and steadily losing weight. Less than a pound a week.
Yesterday was a free food day and I did not have the urge to overeat to make up for my fast. I now feel a routine setting in. I get to enjoy three days of normal eating and actually look forward to my Monday fast.
The fasting as not as bad as fasting for a medical test. Such as a colonoscopy or surgery. Where you have NOTHING to eat except water and clear liquids. Having the 500 calorie evening meal is something to look forward to and the fasting is so very doable.
My husband is doing great too, and feels the same way about not feeling an urge to overeat. He is actually eating less on his free days.
I encourage him to eat special treats like ice cream or pasta on feed days, so he doesn't get into the "diet" mode of thinking.
I can see a difference in his body and he said he can't keep his pants up. He is losing in his butt first and still has a ways to go with his stomach. He as also quit smoking while using the nicatine patch. So all of this is a win win for him.
I am so happy I found this diet plan. I actually did not see the documentary on tv. I saw Dr Mosley on the exercise documentary and Binged him online to read more about him and saw that he does this Fasting diet. This is something I can do forever. Not only is it great for keeping post menopausal weight off, it is actually good for you and gets you off poor eating habits and off the snacking all day habit.
So....another free day today. Looking forward to some nice grilled fish this evening at one of our favorite restaurants.
Yummmm.
