So even though I had decided not to weigh in for a while I thought I had better see what damage the holiday had done. I was quite surprised to discover that I was the same weight, I'm quite happy that, even with all the wine, fish and chips and icecream I have not gained anything other than a bit of bloating.
Fortunatly I am at home for the next few weeks instaed of being stuck behind a desk so I want to make a real effort to get my body fat down a bit and get a bit fitter before I start back at work.
So I have two fast days to fit in before Sunday, I'm doing one today and one Saturday. I think being flexible with the days will suit me best as I am finding it easier to fast on the days that I am really busy. Today is going well so far I have had 2 pints of sugar free squash and a coffee so far, the evening meal is prepared and consists of liver and onions new potatoes and loads of fresh veg from dads garden.
I'm also going to set myself a goal of sitting less, I've noticed I've become increasingly lazy of late and find I'm sitting around alot now I'm at home full time. If my body is to burn of some of these fat stores I have to move more. I've decided to aim to have only one hour tv or computer time before 7pm and the rest of the time I'm going to try and keep moving. This morning I've been out weeding in the garden and mowing the lawn there are a few more jobs out there that need doing this afternoon then I'll start on the housework. If I keep this up by the time I go back to work the house will be sparkling .
Right enough of my ramblings for today I best get back to the gardening!
