Being near the healthy BMI range is something to celebrate! That seems eons away for me but I am looking forward to that day. Your chicken breaded with coconut flour sounds delicious. May have to try that one. Good wishes to you on the Christmas challenge.
Just wanted to thank you Raw Karen for your blog....it has actually inspired me...with all it's ups and downs!! You have set me on a path of discovery of Bullet Proof coffees and low carb and Skye St. John. I have ordered her book ! Thank you!!
Hi JoBo. Thanks for reading my blog. The blog area of this site is pretty quiet at the moment, but I find it useful to layout what I'm thinking but it is nice to know that it is helping. I need to post an update. I'm feeling great at the moment, but not sure what the scales might say end of the week Let me know how you get on with Skye's book.

Completely Different Food

This particular way of eating seems to be suiting me for now. This morning I woke up and did not feel hungry until lunchtime. I could not even manage a bulletproof coffee. This is unusual for me as I normally need to eat something in the morning even on fast days.
Today I have chicken breast cut into strips, dipped in oil and 'breaded' in coconut flour, shredded coconut, garlic granules, onion granules, smoked paprika. Served with a nice crispy green romaine salad and a spicy avocado dressing (home-made). I have also stocked up on 85% and 90% chocolate which I'm really enjoying and I am managing a couple of squares a nice. Feels a really nice treat.
