Hi all,

Sorry about the spell of downtime we had last night, not quite sure what caused it but I couldn't get the database server to restart and had to wait for our host to kindly do it for us.

Since then there seems to be an intermittent fault which makes is appear as though a post hasn't been successful -when in fact the post has indeed gone through, it's just not telling you that.

I can't find any reason for this as it has started seemingly out of the blue, with no changes to the forum in the last couple of days. I've had to refer this problem to the host and hope they can figure out what's causing it.

Meanwhile please try not to reload the page when you make a post and get a blank screen/internal server error - your post should still have gone through and reloading will cause a duplicate.

Hope to have this issue resolved ASAP. Bit of a nuisance really as there are some patches for the forum software which I need to apply and am best doing so on a quiet night - like a Friday night. However I'm loathe to change anything until this fault is resolved.
