just wondered how many of you always have dessert on your feed days. I don't tend to have them in the week usually just on a Sunday or if I go out for a meal. Just lately I have been feeling peckish around a couple of hour after my dinner and succumbing to porridge which really isn't good eaten just before bed. Just wondering if I should start havung a dessert (low cal of course) after my meal. What do you think? And for those of you who do have desserts what do you have?

I often feel the need for something sweet to finish a meal, my standys are- Muller Light Chocolate desert, Muller light yogurt with sprinkles (sorry I can't remember the exact name), Skinny Cow Caramel shortcake lolly - all at just under 100 cals
Fresh Fruit (berries etc not banana) with Activia Vanilla flavour - 65 cals for the Activia plus whatever fruit you choose
At around 200 cals Waitrose Love life Chocolate puddings and Tesco Blackberry and apple crumble (from their healthy eating range)
Hope that helps
Oh and don't forget the Bedtime mug of low cal Hot Chocolate, I like the Cadbury's Dark Chocolate one at 40 cals
Edit - and the 8 cal pots of sugar free Fruit Jelly

Indulgent desserts I only have once a week.
If I am feeling a bit peckish for something sweet after dinner I usually have fruit (a mango, peach or something else seasonal) with one or two tablespoons of greek yoghurt and a small clawful of walnuts.
or
approx. 1/4cup of blueberries, 1-2 tbsp. of greek yoghurt mixed with a pinch of cinnamon and a tiny dash of vanilla extract served with a few walnuts.

I'm not sure if I should be confessing this, but I am just testing a Vosges chocolate bar with bacon and salt. It is indeed a very strange combo....
Blimey @rawkaren a strange combo indeed! What did you think? I won't tell you about the Aldi Moser Roth mini bars that @wildmissus @Sue.Q @Callyanna and I are currently testing to destruction ...
It seems the fashion at the moment to mix chocolate and bacon. As I am not a fan of sweet and sour don't think I would like it. I always have something sweet after a meal.

I'm going to try using some of mine to make individual chocolate mousses (mice?!) as I think the intense flavour of them would work well!
Oooh Cally let us know how you get on and what you use - currently have some creme epaisse in the fridge, so wonder if I could use that ...
Only ever fruit or both fruit and yoghurt for me on a fast day. Sometimes dates and maybe crystallised ginger, my current "fetish"
my pic of typical fast day dessert... its yoghurt not cream you will be pleased to hear.
On the other hand if its Gourmet Saturday, the term ive coined for most Saturdays now. its more like this..
I made it tonight so im feeling proud... Its figs with cream and demerara suguar, served with vanilla icecream and rich chocolate sauce i found in my leftover Christmas hamper.
I guess to turn this into a fast day meal I would drop the chocolate sauce and cream and substitute the ice cream for yoghurt. would still be lovely. I think its just your imagination that you need to rely on and you can make "sweets" for fast day something you can still enjoy in moderation. and sans chcocolate.
