Best Indian Takeaway Option?
03 Mar 2013, 07:53
I always do my fast days on the days leading up to my twice weekly night shifts. I have nothing during the day and then my 500 cals in my evening meal at work. Next week however, my watch at work are planning to have an Indian take away one night to celebrate a colleagues retirement. I don't want to break my fasting routine so I have a plan! Will fast through the day as usual, then when we order our curry I shall opt for something dry like Tandoori chicken or chicken tikka and bring a salad from home to go with it. This should keep me withing my 500cal budget shouldn't it?
Nobody will mind or even notice probably, they are used to my 'ways'!
Is there a microwave there? If so, could you get a ready meal curry that's calorie counted instead and join in that way? Otherwise chicken tikka and salad sounds the best option.
