5:2 Cookery Discussion, Tips & Ideas

I have a question about cooking stir fry or some other fast meal for 2/in a batch.
I'm assuming people just work the calorie content of the full pan/pot out and then divide by 2 to get the calorie content for 1 serving (if making for 2 people) - and then equally divide the pan?

Do you weight it? Some times it is difficult to get equal portions (more carrots on 1 plate than the other etc)

I definitely weight the protein (as this is probably the most calorific)

or am I worrying about nothing?

thanks
I think you're over stressing it a bit, if "half" is between 45 and 55% the error isn't great and remember that your calorie allowance isn't an exact number backed up by science in the first place.

If one person divides the portions and the other person picks which one they want you get the closest to equal sized portions :-)
