1 EAS Carb Control Strawberry shake (100 cals, 17gr Protein, 2 gr Carb)
1 frozen sliced banana (90 cals)
handful of ice
pinch of xanthan gum (optional, adds bulk, prevent ice crystals)
optional sweeteners ( I use Sugar Free Strawberry Torani syrup - o cals, or a teaspoon of sugar free strawberry jam)
add to blender and blend
This makes a huge 500ml portion for 200 or so calories. Sometimes a little water is needed as it may be too thick.
It is delicious!
If no EAS shake is available, I sometimes will use unsweetened almond milk (1 cup @ 40 cals) and use frozen berries. For me the xanthan gum makes all the difference as I can't stand ice crystals in my smoothie.
