5:2 Cookery Discussion, Tips & Ideas

This isn't a recipe as such, but for awhile now (even well before I started 5:2) I've been eating the Slendier Slim Pasta and Noodles. It's an Australian product, available nationwide at most supermarkets. I'm unsure if it's available overseas but there are probably similar products.

They are very low in calories- the noodles only have 6.4cals per 100gms, so they are PERFECT for fast day meals! The rice variety has just been released too, so I'm going to give that a go with a stir fry tonight.

The taste and texture is a bit different from regular pasta or noodles, so they may not be for everyone, but I just thought I'd share, as I enjoy them and thought some of you may as well!

Hi beclouise, we have similar here in uk, I'm no good at tetchy bits to link you to a post but if you search zero noodles in top left hand search box it will lead you to an interesting thread of posts that were being chatted about a couple of days ago. Good luck with your meal planning
Oh, I just noticed a few others have posted about similar stuff, so apologies for repeating... I'm a noob! :)
