Fasting day BLT

Hi, I'm new here, and have been 5:2ing since April. I'm down about 12 pounds, with about 8 more to go. Yeah for me!

Tomatoes are just coming in season where I live here in the USA. One of my favorite summer meals is the Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato Sandwich.

If I'm figuring right, I'm coming in at under 200 calories for my dinner!

2 slices Sara Lee Healthy Multi Gran bread = 90 calories
2 slices of Canadian Bacon = 30 calories
1 wedge of Laughing Cow Light Swiss Cheese = 35 calories
2 huge slices of a huge, juicy tomato = 25 calories

Just thought I'd share! I'm enjoying reading everyone's ideas and input!

That sounds lovely. One of my favourite fast day dinners is bacon and tomatoes. I use waitrose bacon medalions and a tin of chopped tomatoes with a single slice of bread. Very satisfying dinner.

on a fast day a good variation would be to wrap the filling, minus the lettuce, in a large romaine leaf. I use romaine lettuces a lot as wraps!
