My whole family love this soup

I haven't tried to post links before - hope this works. This soup is light, fresh and DELICIOUS!

I make it with 2 leeks and use a combination of broccoli and cauliflower (never broccoflower). It has hardly any calories so you can even add some light sour cream without busting the calorie bank!
Looks divine, must give it a go
I had to hunt up broccoflower as I had never heard of it before. So heres a link and more recipes.

Sounds yum. Leek and fennel are high ticket items where I live. I have used them in other recipes and they add wonderful, what is that kind of flavor. It would cost me just about 7dollars for the leek and fennel alone..very expensive soup but ah so good.
Clairemarie, save it for when they're in season. Both leek and fennel are cheap here right now.
Nichoco, I don't think these items are that popular in my part of US. Maybe the foodies but not the masses. For instance, swiss chard is around 3 dollars for a small bunch! I try and grown it myself mixed in with flowers in the flower boxes. Looks great...red swiss chard and pink flowers.(last year)
