Chilli Tuna 275...ish calories.
19 Feb 2013, 11:38
This could easily modified with chicken etc, it makes 3 portions or 2 large ones...depending how famished you are come dinner time :shock:

300gms Tuna steak (2 large) 325 cals
200gms Red Peppers (2 medium) 65 cals
300gms Large flat mushrooms (1 punnet) 50 cals
100gms Red onion (1 small) 40 cals
500gms Passatta (1 carton) 125 cals
1 tbsp Bertoli extra light olive oil 40 cals
1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar 10 cals
Chilli flakes (to your taste)
150gms Cous Cous 165 cals

820 = 274 cals per portion
In a large frying pan add the oil, chopped onion & peppers, fry for 5 mins then add the mushrooms and around 100mls water.
Let it simmer for 5 mins then add the passata, balsamic & chilli flakes...simmer on low for 30 mins.
Cut the tuna steaks (I use scissors) into small bite size cubes and add 10 mins before serving....serve with cous cous.
sounds yum,might give that a try this weekend even tho its a feed day
cheers
