Thank you. I've now bookmarked the link. I started the fast diet yesterday and somehow stumbled across this forum. Absolute godsend.

Ugh. An old post probably best left unread. Every food can be reduced in quantity to appear healthily under 50 cals.

In looking at the list most are carbohydrates - perfect ways to sabotage a fat burning fast day to lengthen the total time required to lose the weight.

And remember, you can always eat it tomorrow. Let the :2 part of 5:2 do its work.

Although I didn't know 2tbsp of hummus or 10 olives were so low in cals. That is useful info!
