Fast Day Smoothie
07 Apr 2013, 23:40
This is my favourite smoothie recipe.
Calories: 257
protein 11
fiber 4
fat 8

1 cup almond milk (I like vanilla coconut flavour, unsweetened)
50 gm fresh or canned pineapple
50 gm fresh or frozen mango chunks
50 gm frozen banana chunks
1 T. hemp seeds (hemp hearts)
60 gm vanilla greek yogurt 0% fat

Chuck it all in the blender and let it rip. If the fruit is frozen, you don't need ice, but if not you may want to add some ice cubes to make it very cold like a milkshake.

Am planning to try this without the yogurt since I'm vegan. Perhaps will replace the pineapple with papaya since it is great for digestion...thanks for getting me thinking.

Sounds good! I've never tasted papaya, now I'm curious though.
