5:2 Diet Recipes

Hello.

I've been fasting now since Jan 2013 and at the last count, have lost just about a stone. Not bad going, i'm happy with the result.

On my fast days I usually have a subway side salad with Turkey for lunch, 2pm ish and about 105 calories. I use the other 400 ish calories on tuna and salad or mixed bean and tuna salad.

I always have an Aldi double chocolate ice cream in a cone, I have measured the scoop and only have 100g, on the tub it states that 100 ml is only 100 calories, however, is this equivalent to gramms or is this why i've only been losing half a pound a week?

Hope to hear some helpful news.

Thanks.
Density of ice cream is roughly 1.1 g/ml, so you're probably a little under 100ml at 100g. :-)
Maybe I'm not reading this correctly but on your fast day you appear to be eating 605 calories and that doesn't count the cone? Maybe you are near your ideal weight and so it is taking longer to lose those last few lbs? I adore chocolate but don't eat it on a fast day. Have you adjusted your TDEE to take into account you have lost a stone?
I'd not put it clearly, my tuna salad is only 250 cals i've added the ice cream and cone on, the cone is 15 calories.

Phew i'm glad I wasn't over by 200 calories a day.
If only I could stop eating anything with chocolate the weight would drop off rapidly, but then I would be so miserable!
