Hi,
I just wondered if anyone else has tried "Slim Rice" and "Slim pasta". It's quite expensive for a pack (you can buy at Amazon and Holland and Barrett) but only had about 15 cals per portion!! It doesn't taste of anything and just absorbs the sauce you put on it... It does however have a strange texture, which at first put me off but I persevered and I don't mind it at all now. It's especially good with curry/pasta sauces and is a brilliant carb substitute. For my fast days I roast some butternut squash with Thai 7 spice and mix with slim rice. It only comes in at less than 150 cals and you get a massive meal out of it! I also have the pasta mixed with pesto and a spag bol sauce. It's brilliant... Can't recommend highly enough... Once you get used to the texture and price!!
