Hope you'll be able to join us next time Karen. Just having a coffee to calm my nerves before I set off!
I really, really want to be with you all, perhaps another time, have a great day girls and don't forget the photographs

Ballerina x
Just back from Chester with PennyForthem and Merlin in Chester. Hope you both had straightforward journeys home as I did. Two lovely ladies so many thanks for your company and friendship today (and the chutney P!) Looking forward to the next time now when hopefully more members can join us :like:
You'll all have to wait for Penny to upload some photos as she was our official photographer, although the waiter did oblige too!
You have just beaten me to it callyanna. It was indeed a very pleasant lunch and we must do it again. Hopefully some others might be brave enough to join us next time.
Thanks for the chutney P.
I managed to get daughter's Xmas pressie and the bus arrived at the stop seconds after me, so yes it was a very easy journey home.
Lovely Callyanna. I have started a new thread on this.
Yes my journey was straightforward - Park and ride bus arrived at the bus stop a few seconds after I did! I had a little retail therapy in Broughton Park on the way home!
Glad it went well x
What did you all have to eat and drink ..not that i' m obsessed by food hehe! xx
I had a steak baguette and a latte- the others had a healthy[ish] salad and black coffee. After all calories you eat out don't count do they?
We all laid off the booze and drank saintly sparkling water!
I had a yummy goat's cheese salad which was really substantial and a coffee. Will let the other two tell you what they chose. Hadn't been to Café Rouge before but it was really nice, good service and atmosphere.
Glad you liked Cafe Rouge Cally x hope you all enjoyed the grub and yes! Very saintly,no drinks..
Now then..are you just keepin it quiet about desserts consumed ..hmmmm? Or were you being ultra saintly today?

And thats right Merlin, calories eaten out or from someone else's plate dont count
Another tip, keep food on top of the fridge..calories hate heights and they jump right out of the food x
I had a tarte aux champignons with side salad, with a lemon and basil dressing. It was lovely.
Do you know, I don't think thoughts of dessert passed through anybody's mind!!
