It is apparently a rare occurance to have a new moon and a new year happening at the same time.

What kind of year would you like to have? Apparently in astrology speak, it might be easier than we think. In other words, forget the resolutions, what do you really, REALLY wish for in 2014?

I'm still mulling this one so someone start me off please!
Personally, to maintain my weight and stay happy and healthy.
I have a few things 'on the go', which I'd like to see come to fruition. More in due course.
Basically, if my family is healthy and happy this time next year, I will be delighted. I wish the same for all of you xx
How bizarre! My dog Poppy was born on a full moon (which explains a lot!) but a full moon on New Year's Eve? Hmm what could it mean? If it's magical, then I would like to wish for my life back...free of ME. That would make my year...and my life!!

Bean :sleepy:

New moon Bean, not full......

Your wish is granted though
I am naturally an optimistic person but am more than happy to see the back of 2013 as the first 6 months and the previous year were some of the hardest parts of my life to cope with. Without going into any details here I can only thank my wonderful friends and family who supported me and saw me through the worst times. My wish therefore for 2014 is for things to continue as they are as present with all those dear to me prospering and in good health.
I want to be able to 'feel the fear and do it anyway' a bit more and keep working towards being more assertive and proactive in achieving my goals... A healthy abundance of all sorts would also be very gratefully received :)
ooh goodness, my deepest wish! I'll have to think about that! But in the meantime, being able to continue to grow (smaller, LOL), and learn and risk and have more fun, and get less stuck in the old ways, would be a good start.
Resolutions are the things we can have some control over. But this post is about our wishes over which we have no control. I wish I had closer relationships with my sons and therefore with my graddaughters. I wish my OH had better health. I wish for a good result in the state election. I wish OH would finish building the berry cage and a new vegie patch. Then we could get ducks. I wish, I wish.....meanwhile i'll go and tidy my bedside table.
My understanding is that a new moon is a time to wish for what you want, so For 2014 A big wish will be for me to be on top of thing, being well prepared, organised and be present in the moment. As well be healthy and happy and keep up 5:2
How do we know it's a new moon? What happened to the old one?!
I found the thing I really wished for last year and that was a way to lose weight and keep it off for good. Thank you 5:2.
On a practical note I'd like the hen house to be finished and for us to have chooks...
I would wish for my husband to be successful in his weight loss journey and get his health back.
I wish for my business to flourish and grow this year after three rotten years. As if that wasn't enough I wish to find a boyfriend lol, my youngest son to find a job and my eldest and his gf to have the baby they are trying for x

Yes I'm with wino on this one♥ and as I posted on the resolution thread mine was a "wish" because I know I have the tools and resolve to make it to my goal weightwise♥

  So as @Sallyo has said wishes we have no control over so my ONLY wish is for my health benefits I've gained with this WOL to continue to get better I'd settle for what I have staying exactly the same but I'm sure I can get just a little more.
