I haven't been sleeping very well for various reasons and have terrible bags under my eyes. Not so bad that I look like a bloodhound, but I feel like that most mornings  !
Anyone found a cheap remedy that doesn't involve expensive 'hope in a bottle'? I heard Anusol works! :?:

Not had that problem but have you tried cucumber slices on your eyes? I think that's supposed to help. Also hemorroid creams are supposed to work as well. Good luck!
bloodhound lol. i know its not funny at the time.

did a quick google on it and these seems interesting (non commercial sites)

I like the ones that involve lying down lol! I'd forgotten about teabags, I'll try it, and another excuse to drink more tea!!!
Not a quick fix, more long term, but I've found hyaluronic acid to work better than anything else around the eyes. You use just a drop as a serum then apply your usual moisturiser over the top. Amazing.

hehe i just read that as Hydrochloric acid. stay away from that one!
teabags and drink lots and lots of water. I hope you are feeling better soon.

Betsy taken the words right out my mouth (cucumber  wouldn't know about the other  )
Thank you all!!

I have a box of green teabags which I don't like so a perfect use for them! I have heard about haemorrhoid cream being used, I'll send the hubby in for some. Hee her
ahhemm. Yes they do work because I have tried it, but be careful as it can make your skin dry out.
Try keeping a teaspoon in the fridge and using the bowl side to gently press under the eyes. Helps (a bit!), to de-puff the bags!
I find putting a good smear of Vaseline under my eyes before bed makes them look & feel worlds better in the morning. Forget where I read that tip, but it works.
Right, chemist in the morning for Vaseline and haemorrhoid cream!!

      :victory:

Interesting shopping list you have there

ballerina x
Potato slices are also commonly used in Ayurvedic medicine as an undereye remedy - not sure where I read that, on the 'net somewhere.

I think re: the haemorrhoid cream you are looking for the Preparation H Witch Hazel gel rather than a cream/lotion (i know that beauty tip has been around for years) - but if Anusol cream is said to work, maybe it does LOL. It has Balsam de Peru as the 'active' ingredient which is said to help tighten and shrink piles, so perhaps it works on eyebags too.
