NONE of them can move their faces - Joan Collins, Cher, Madonna, Joan Rivers ... The only one over 60 who looks anywhere near normal is Meryl Streep ...

My exact point.
But yes I made that comment about Paul, left the room and now all your dough is rising. There's something about his eyes. Shouldn't think about bread on a fast day.

I think Twiggy still looks pretty good too and I don't think she's had any 'work' done.
Carieoates - it's the same look that Paul Newman had. And to a lesser extent, Steve McQueen. But with Paul Hollywood, I'm afraid it starts (and ends!) with the eyes!! unlike with PN or SMcQ - who had the whole package ...
(Oh and agree with @wildmissus about Robert de Niro ... only he has brown eyes ... )

And not forgetting our own Helen Mirren and Judi Dench, who both look fantastic IMHO
I love Cher's voice ..... wish I had legs like her too.... I should really leave it at that and zip up (well done izzy)..... but she could hardly smile (botox?) .... sorry, but there it is, I've said it
Let this be a warning to anyone thinking of going down the same road as Cher!

All true, but I'd like her legs now never mind at 67
All very scary!
I am of the 'never having anything done', camp.
I'm growing old disgracefully, even if I don't always like what I see in the mirror.
And yes, the Silver Fox does it for me, too!

Ooh Callyanna how awful is that. No, that really does put me off plastic surgery. I've seen similar photos of people like Meg Ryan who really spoiled herself and now has weird lips. Much better to age gracefully (with the help of yoga...look up Barbara Currie...she's in her 70s and looks incredibly young and healthy)
Barbara Currie is a great inspiration for aging gracefully. She still has a 24 inch waist...at the age of 70

Hadn't heard of Barbara Currie before nursebean, but have just googled her and yes, she does look amazing yet still 'natural'.
What can I say, I'm 66 years young and whilst I'm not in the public eye, beyond this forum at least, I don't feel the need to have myself surgically mutilated to the point of horror, nature supplied that one for free! I am not too unhappy about how the old body is holding up. For goodness sake, what is a human being supposed to look like at my advanced age? A teenager? Nope! A woman in her twenties? Nope, A film star? Oh, yes Lassie might fit the bill but otherwise we all just do the best we can and you know, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. SO, I am just going to enjoy what time I have left with my lovely man, my great friends and family, my young woman weight (and that is a REAL bonus) and I am going to continue boring you all with my travel tales so, keep going gals, you are a long time dead, wrinkles or no wrinkles
