Hi All, I just don't have time at the moment to join in but I hope you have a lot of fun. I will be cheering you on too and looking forward to seeing the hilarious answers you lot come up with
Happy Birthday to your Mum Silverdarling, the quiz is a great idea x
Betsysgr8 wrote: @Silverdarling, please don't post the first questions til Tuesday since so many don't login/post until they do their Monday fast. I'm dying to know the questions but think it's only fair to give the people that seem to actually have a life at the weekend to joih in the fun. ;)

Will do @Betsysgr8 - we may have to wait a bit anyway, if Moogie can do the tweaks that Caroline has suggested she might be able to do. All good and plenty of time!
I am absolutely rubbish at quizzes but will join in for a laugh. Don't, know anything about the 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's. Come to think of it, any decade!!!

Lesley

... Hadn't thought of that Caroline, thanks for mentioning - don't really know what's possible or not ... would be great if it was!

Fingers crossed, Fairy Godmother @Moogiewill be able to wave her magic wand over this one ... :like:

Hmmm, not easily possible to do this for a single thread but we may be able to do something by setting up a forum specifically for the quiz. I'll have to look at the permissions settings but it should be possible to prevent editing within the specific forum. I don't think we can hide other replies from a user until they reply, but we could make it so all replies are invisible to anyone but the user who posted them and whoever is asking the questions I think. At the end of the quiz we could then make it all visible. Will have to do a bit of investigating on this front. The other option of course is to have answers sent by PM.
Sorry @Silverdarling.

Your first member to fall by the wayside

One look at the questions and my heart sank. I only know one answer - at least I think I do and I'm not going to cheat and Google the rest.

Good luck to everyone else :clover:

EDIT - OK, I'll have a go, 1 right is better than none!
Thanks @Betsysgr8 for the encouragement

My goodness, where were the questions?

How did I miss that?

Thanks @Moogie on Caro's advice have gone down the PM option for Round 1, and it seems to be working ok. Caro locked the questions thread which I hadn't thought of, and that's useful. Please do have a look at what you suggested above when / if you've time, but don't let it get in the way of other important stuff! Quiz will probably be going for a few weeks - eight rounds altogether!
Am I too late to join in? If I'm short of time I don't get to this bit of the forum so I missed this thread. I've pm'd you the 1930s answers but I won't do any more if I've missed the boat. Sorry! A bit dazed and confused.
