cyst removed
23 Sep 2013, 10:04
My daughter is 16, so her complexion is like peaches and cream. Though she had a cyst on her cheek, it was excised today. I'm wondering if you folks, have had experiences or aware of any cream, lotion, vitamin. e.g.. rose hip oil, argan etc. I dont even know how big this cut is, still covered. I am keen to have this be a minimal scar for her.

Thanks guys

Thankyou for this, I have all of the above. He said it was a big cyst, but made the hole smaller, so he could stretch it through. I was told by another surgeon when she was 11 he was not touching that complexion because of scarring, but this cyst kept on growing and no research could tell me it would not stop growing. The first surgeon said it was a pilomatrixoma, this surgeon today, said it was a cyst.

Thankyou for this support.

Wishing your daughter a speedy recovery xx
Vitamin E oil is great for scars, you should be able to buy small bottles of it in Holland and Barratt.
