Thanks to all for your very kind and sympathetic comments - they are very much appreciated.

In the end I didn't have time to worry about my nose illuminating the proceedings ... If any of you have experience of a photo call with more than 3 kids, you will know what I mean ...   it's like herding cats!!!! Helen the photographer was very patient and good at getting the best out of everyone ... but wow did it take a long time  now I know how the Royals must feel  and dhana, no I didn't get chance to do the Miss Great Britain 1971 pose   we were all directed into position, huddled together in a 'naturalistic' pose in the children's section ... A member of staff who hadn't seen me for a while did comment on my slimmer figure, so that made me feel a lot better  :victory:
