I brought home a foster dog today, Rosie, and haven't eaten a thing! She's a lovely natured Australian Bulldog, three years old and in the dog's home after being found on the road. I have spent the day showing her around our property and keeping her calm as she is very anxious after being in the dog's home. She is now asleep on the sofa next to me, but is keeping a close eye on me!
We can't adopt permanently at the moment due to work and the loss of our own boys still too raw. Hopefully she'll find a loving home soon and in the meantime, she has one here with us!!
Aah that is lovely Debs giving her some TLC and home comforts
Sorry to hear about losing yr dear doggies x
Debs what a lovely idea - wish I could do the same, but can't with working full-time - really envy anyone who can find the time in their life to look after a dog, especially a rescue dog. :like: :clover:
What a wonderful thing to be doing. I'm glad it's helping with the fasting too.
how wonderful!!!! So glad there are people like you in the world :-)
